History
When eepos was founded in 2006 by Friedhelm Mücher, Klaus Bellingroth, Timo Koch and Armin Mücher, the goal was to create ergonomic workplaces throughout. At that time Friedhelm Mücher had been active in the crane business for over 20 years and he had discovered a special niche that eepos wanted to serve with its products: absolutely smooth-running crane systems based on the modular principle - and for weight reasons these were to be made entirely of aluminium.
Smooth-running and jam-free aluminium cranes
eepos developed a modular system that is extremely smooth-running, absolutely jam-free, extremely low-maintenance and maximally durable. The first modular crane system made entirely of aluminum with a load capacity of up to 2 t was developed and presented with great success at the "MOTEK" trade fair under the name eepos one. Customers from the automotive and mechanical engineering industries were enthusiastic about the smooth running and flexibility of the eepos systems. Within just a few years, the eepos one aluminum system established itself as a new quasi-standard for light crane systems up to 2 tons.
ISO9001 certified since 2008
Early on, eepos decided to align its quality management with ISO9001. The initial certification in 2008 was then also proof of the consistently customer-oriented working and production methods at eepos in Wiehl. Re-certification then took place in 2015 and is still valid today.
Growth and innovation
After initially equipping individual workstations with eepos, eepos was awarded the contract for the light crane systems for the complete Audi A3 production at the AUDI Györ factory in Hungary. This project was both a confirmation and an incentive to become even stronger and more innovative. Thus eepos grew to over 60 employees in the first few years.

This project was both a confirmation and an incentive to become even stronger and more innovative. Thus, eepos grew to more than 60 employees in the first years.
In the following years eepos consequently developed its products further. Today, the aluminum lifting axis eepos move is just as much a part of the product range as the electric crane drive eepos eedrive, the rail system for workstation equipment eepos nano, eepos base energy columns or the BOK system eepos line.
Continuously, eepos also pushed the development of digital services: in the online platform eeworld, all customers and partners have been able to download the eepos components, the associated technical documents and the latest product information for the design of their own systems since 2014. Since January 2018, numerous easy-to-use configuration tools such as the crane designer, the move designer or the base designer facilitate the design of the products by our customers.
For its innovations, eepos twice received the prestigious award "TOP 100 Innovator 2015" and "TOP 100 Innovator 2018".
Courage, pleasure at work and a great team
In every product and also in all services around the complete aluminum system construction kit, the eepos company values such as speed and joy in work, courage and innovative drive, honesty and openness in dealing with each other. And the customers rewarded this: eepos is extremely fast and exceptionally flexible, they say very often. Our entire team puts their heart and soul into everything we do, from consulting to implementation, because we want to fully satisfy each and every one of our customers. Whether it's an appointment on site, remotely or by phone, we are there for you at short notice and reliably.
